**A brand-new outdoor painting event is coming to the Chaleur Region!**

**Maison des Arts Belle-Baie** and the **Baybreeze Art Gallery of Bathurst** are proud to present the first edition of **Paint Chaleur Region**.

📅 **August 14 & 15, 2026**

Whether you're a professional artist, a hobby painter, or simply enjoy painting, this event is for you!

🖌️ Choose your favourite location anywhere in the Chaleur Region.
🎨 Create an original outdoor painting.
🖼️ Exhibit your artwork at the UNI Art Space.
🤝 Meet fellow artists and share your passion.

### 📝 Registration

**$25 per artist**

📍 **At the UNI Art Space**
**Friday, August 14 – 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.**
or
**Saturday, August 15 – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon**

⚠️ **Artists must bring their blank canvas to registration so it can be officially stamped before painting begins. This confirms that the artwork was created during the event.**

### 💰 Artwork Sales

Each artist chooses the selling price of their artwork.

When a painting is sold:
✅ **60% of the sale price goes directly to the artist.**
✅ **20% goes to Maison des Arts Belle-Baie.**
✅ **20% goes to the Baybreeze Art Gallery of Bathurst.**

This revenue-sharing model supports artists while helping both galleries continue their cultural mission.

❤️ **People's Choice Award – $50**

All artwork must be delivered to the UNI Art Space by **4:00 p.m. on Saturday**.

🖼️ **Public exhibition and art sale: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.**, during the Tintamarre festivities, giving artists a wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell their work to a large audience.

We invite artists from across the Chaleur Region to join us and help make **Paint Chaleur Region** a new annual tradition!
